Dear Thomas,
We have been on our own for just over a month now. We have diligently worked to implement all aspects of your program and have probably gotten about 75 % of the elements in place. The transformation has been easy for the team thanks to your well thought out plan.
We also have one really important element that was absent before your training --we have a real team working in the office now. Everyone understands the benefit of working smarter, not harder and is bought in to the common goal of helping kids have a better chance of success. We haven't gone a week yet withut things to celebrate. Just last week we had two calls from schools asking for workshops at upcoming teacher in-services - how's that for progress!
What a great feeling to be in control of your future and to have a foundation for decision-making. We wish we would have done this sooner!

"Step by step by step" is the phrase that stands out so clearly with Thomas Lecoq's presentation. My staff as well as myself have been amazed at how much more the parents are grasping the need for vision therapy and signing up. I would like to thank you for all the advice and coaching you provided to our
vision therapy practice, which I started last June.
You have helped us build a referral-based vision therapy practice from scratch.
Your NETwork software enables us to keep track of our referral sources and VT
candidates. The software also allows workshop flyers, forms, and reports to be
generated efficiently and professionally.
We are pleased to share with you that we are now providing 13 vision therapy
sessions per week for children with learning-related vision problems. Through

Hello Thomas!
I just wanted to let you know that your vision therapy marketing program is
working well for us! As you know, Overlake Family Vision is a new start up
business. We started out without a single patient record and business was slow.
I had been making contacts in town in order to promote our vision therapy
program and I didn't have much success. I thought I was contacting the
appropriate professionals who would be most likely to refer vision therapy
patients to me. Although I really felt like I was on the right track in starting
a vision therapy program, I wasn't making any progress.
After our seminar with you and Jean, I had a good understanding about where to
look for prospective patients and referral sources. I learned that public
schools and pediatricians don't want to know about vision therapy. Your computer
program and your expertise really gave us a strong foundation on which to build
our practice!
It has taken us a while to get the ball rolling, and now it's finally happening!
We are getting calls to request staff in-services and the attendance at our
monthly seminars is growing! We now have patients coming to us seeking vision
therapy! It is really exciting!

I just wanted to write to update you on the progress we have been making since
we began to work with you to grow our vision therapy practice.
It has been a year since we started to use the NETwork system and we are happy
to report that we are enjoying the development of our practice. Since last year
our enrollment has increased 50%. We also recently had a story about vision
therapy published in a major metropolitan New York newsletter.
Your guidance, insights, and constant support have helped to make vision therapy
a more sought after service. It is important for every optometrist who wants to
build a vision therapy practice to have the necessary tools to know how to
market the valuable service they provide. I know that your system made the
difference in helping me to be successful in reaching out to the public and to

Hi Randy and all others,
We recently had Tom Lecoq come for a two-day seminar and purchased his
networking software. One of the reasons we decided to try Tom was that a
colleague said she had to stop using his programs because she got too busy.
We haven't even had a chance to do all the things he recommends and our
practice is growing by leaps and bounds. He puts together all the things you
know you should be doing and want to do but don't have the time to do... and
makes it easy.
One of the best things about having Tom is his coaching. He was great in how he
brought our entire office together. What he had to say to them inspired us all.
He's given us a road map to follow. Contact me if you have any more questions.
Also, we are gradually changing from payment by session or by unit (nine
sessions and a progress evaluation) to global fees. It'll be interesting to see
how this all works out.

Dear Tom,
I know we've just begun our consultation and staff training with you, but I
thought I would let you know that I have already seen a wonderful change in our
staff's attitude. Over the years I've gotten into some habits regarding case
presentations that were not in my patients' best interest. You've really got me
in tune with the need to make our patients and their parents aware of the
gravity of the situation and have given us a way to convey this message to them.
When I informed my staff that we were going to have a practice management
consultant in the office to do staff training, there was quite a bit of
apprehension. We had a "Management by Statistics" consultation that was really
quite tedious, with emphasis on constantly increasing the number of patients and
"selling" additional services and materials. Needless to say your training has
pleasantly surprised the staff. We have always prided ourselves on being a
practice providing quality services and materials. Over the years, as managed
care has become more prevalent, we have slipped into accepting more plans that
really don't pay adequately for the quality we offer our patients. As a result
of the lower reimbursements, we shortened the time scheduled for examinations...you have shown us the way to decrease, if not eliminate, our acceptance
of those plans. Working smarter, not harder, and spending the time to
educate our patients makes sense to everyone here.
Over the years, the explanations I've given my patients have gotten way too
technical. I know in the weeks to come as I change my case presentations to your
recommended outline we will be doing our patients even a greater service.
Patient education using your steps of Recognition, Talk, Experience and
Committed Action is getting to feel more natural to me. Your suggestions seem to
be easily understood and, as a result of using them, we are already seeing a
higher percentage of our patients understand their visual problem and agree to
take the appropriate vision therapy.
You've provided a really life changing experience that will never be forgotten.
